Sometimes we may forgets our Wi-Fi Password or need to know the Wi-Fi Password of a certain place and we may have a Laptop connected to the particular Wi-Fi network. So lets discuss how to know the Wi-Fi password of an Internet connection from a Laptop.
Follow below steps
When you open a Laptop which is connected to a Wi-Fi Connection you can see a Wi-Fi signal in the task bar. Simply Right click on the Wi-Fi signal and you will be displayed with some options.
Click on Open Network and Internet Settings
Next Click on Change adapter options
Double click on Wi-Fi Network under Network Connections
Next Click on Wireless Properties
There will be 2 Tabs like Connection and Security. Click on Security
Tick on Show Characters
Your Wi-Fi Password will be displayed in Network security key, you can take note of your Wi-Fi Password and can be used to connect other devices in the same Wi-Fi network and access Internet.
Trying to find Wi-Fi Password of other People or Public Network is not recommended. This can be used when we forgot our Wi-Fi Password and we don't have any other option to get it back or cant remember our password.
Wi-Fi Password can be retrieved by login to the Modem and Changing of Wi-Fi Password can be done through the Modem Settings. Number of devices connected to the network can be seen in the Modem settings and owner / administrator can disconnect unidentified connections.
